Industrial air curtains provide savings of up to 80% in heat loss and leakage caused by doors. The annual energy losses in industrial doors in businesses where air curtains are not used are shown in the graph.

Adaptive Blowing Technology

The control system and embedded software on the EHP with adaptive router can automatically change the angle of the air router by proportionally controlling the air drive motor according to the data it receives from the door switch. The air router of standard air curtains is fixed and does not have an adaptive operating system according to changing weather conditions.

As seen in Figure A, the air barriers formed by a standard air curtain with a fixed wing structure and an EHP adaptive air curtain are compared under variable conditions.

It can be observed that standard air curtains cannot adapt to variable conditions and cause energy loss, while the EHP adaptive air curtain perfectly adapts to changing conditions.

The relative energy costs of air curtains used on a door are shown in Graph A.

As can be observed from Graph B, an incorrectly designed or incorrectly selected air curtain application increases energy consumption instead of providing energy savings.

Heating - Cooling (Apparatus) Mode

EHP Adaptive Air Curtains can also be used to support air conditioning systems when needed thanks to their ability to adjust the guiding angles.

EHP Air Curtains, which can switch to the apparatus mode by adjusting the guiding angles towards the interior when the doors are closed, contribute to keeping the comfort conditions stable by providing additional capacity to the air conditioning systems of the space. It can be adjusted 30º to both sides or oscillate 30º.

Water and gas battery models can support both heating and cooling systems; electric heater models can only support heating systems.

Layer Comfort System

It provides energy efficiency without compromising employee comfort on industrial doors.

The layer comfort system works on the principle of selecting the lower air curtain module as heated and the upper air curtain modules as ambient air in vertical installation. Thanks to this system, employees experience a sense of comfort with the blown warm air, while the upper modules that do not affect the employees create an air barrier using ambient air. This reduces both the initial investment costs and provides 50% energy savings in air curtain heating costs.

EC Engine Technology

EC Technology consists of a direct current (DC) motor that includes a converter, allowing it to be connected to an alternating current (AC) power source.

The stator (static part of the fan) contains an electronic control board that converts AC power to DC and also allows the fan speed to be proportionally regulated between 0 and 100%.
Unlike AC motors, EC motors have no slip losses, making them significantly more efficient.

  • EC motors are brushless DC motors controlled by an electronic circuit board.

  • They feature permanent magnets and electronically determine rotation direction based on current flow.

  • They operate with alternating current power supplies, regardless of whether it’s 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
